The OC OsteoFix-PK Knotless PEEK Suture Anchor is a fully-threaded, knotless lateral row anchor designed for use with OC Fiber or OC FiberMax Tape in rotator cuff repair using the bridge techniques. It is available with a PEEK body and eyelet, as well as a PEEK body and titanium eyelet for the self-taping introduction.  The simple knotless technique is a quick and easy procedure for securing sutures in tissue without having to tie knots. Sutures or tapes are passed through tissue and then loaded through a closed eyelet which is inserted into a bone socket. Tension is then adjusted and locked into place with an anchor body, eliminating the need for tying difficult knots. This speedy procedure is ideal for securing tissue in a safe and secure manner. The anchor is available in 4.75 and 5.5mm diameters and is made from PEEK, a thermoplastic material with excellent biocompatibility and bio-stability. Its cannulated and vented design ensures minimal material and allows for potential bony ingrowth.
